8. Charlotte Daisy Jillett was born 25th August 1815 and she was baptised twice, once in St David s Hobart, and again in St Matthew s New Norfok, although that may have been a confirmation service.

She married William Henry Smith, on 30th November 1836.   His father had been a marine butcher and landholder on Norfolk Island.  After the marriage they lived on Bruny Island, and William was a whaler.

Charlotte died on 4th August 1852, and is buried at St David s Hobart

While little has been found about Charlotte and William, researching his family lineage was so interesting.
